The Brunetti Vanilla Soft Drive is similar to the Mercury Box, but stands out for a particularly creamy, smooth overdrive. This somewhat more subtle sound suits blues riffs and round, defined rock sounds well at not-too-high distortion levels. The use of FET technology creates a warmth and dynamics very reminiscent of tube sound. The controls are sensitive and also respond excellently to each other, just like a real tube amp.

Wrote the following about Brunetti Vanilla Soft Drive overdrive pedal

Ik dacht er staat Soft Drive, dat zal wel een pedaal zijn die alleen een hele milde overdrive geeft (wat ik ook zocht).

Maar dit is dus totaal niet waar.

Draai de cream (gain) flink open en je rockt er keihard op los!

Van AC/DC's Back In Black naar Sunshine of Your Love van Cream, deze kan het allemaal.

De handige knoppen geven de mogelijkheid om staand je instellingen te veranderen met je voet, mocht je dat willen. Ik deed wel eens de gain omhoog tijdens solo's.

Het is een stevig pedaal, na 3 keer vallen is er nog geen deukje te zien.

Dit is zeker een aanrader. Het is een veelzijdig pedaal. Dit is geen pedaal om maar 1 instelling mee te hebbencenxdat is het, dat is zonde van het pedaal vind ik. Experimenteer en schrijf meerdere settings op voor de liedjes die je speelt. Je kunt zoveel mooie geluiden eruit halen dat het echt zonde zou zijn als je er 1 pakt en dat is het.

Je krijgt dus echt waar voor je geld, zeker een aanrader.
