Dirty Little Secret: two pedals in one

Under the bonnet of this Catalinbread is an internal switch that allows you to choose between two modes: Super Lead and Super Bass. Selecting a different setting changes the tone and first-stage gain parameters so that you get an authentic sound and response. The Super Lead mode has a gain range that varies from a classic Plexi to a modified JCM800. Go from clean to scream just by turning up the volume control on your guitar! The Super Bass mode is reminiscent of the JTM45 and JTM50/10 amplifiers. These old tube amplifiers worked perfectly together with a fuzz pedal, as does the DLS. Just plug a strat in to a Fuzz Face, with the Dirty Little Secret in Super Bass mode, and see what we mean! This setting delivers heavier bass compared to the Super Lead mode that emphasies a powerful mid-range.
