General
The TS808 is a sought-after distortion pedal from Ibanez, known for its warm and natural sound similar to a tube overdrive. Since the 1970s, some tweaks have been made to modernise the pedal. Now Ibanez comes out with a reissue of the original TS808, with exactly the same chip and wiring as the original edition for the enthusiast who wants the sound of the first Tube Screamer. In addition to the overdrive pedal, this set also includes 2 patch cables to connect it to other stompboxes.
Controls of the TS808:
The TS808 has a tone, level and overdrive knob. The tone knob lets you add more high and more bite, or the opposite. Level sets the noise level of the distortion relative to your original signal. The overdrive knob lets you set the amount of distortion. The TS808 has a FET soft-touch pushbutton that makes no clicking or plopping noises when switching the pedal on or off.
