These days, you can find almost anything on YouTube. While it's easy to spend hours watching things like cat videos or fails, there's plenty of useful stuff on there too, of course. If you're a fan of effects pedals, for instance, you may have come across That Pedal Show where Dan & Mick show off their favourite pedals. Occasionally, they sell their own versions of pedals too. The D&M Drive, for instance, is a versatile overdrive effects pedal that was created in collaboration with Keeley.

D&M Drive: double the pleasure

The D&M Drive is actually two pedals in one because it features a boost section in addition to the overdrive. The boost lies somewhere between a pure clean boost and a germanium overdrive. It boasts plenty of headroom and puts an emphasis on the mid frequencies that really takes your guitar sound to the next level. The overdrive features multiple gain stages, giving you everything from a subtle edge to overdrive that'll blow your socks off!

Clever design

Although the drive and boost share the same housing, they can be used as if they were two separate pedals. That means you can decide whether you want to have the boost or the drive in your signal first, for instance. Thanks to the smart TRS jacks, the D&M Drive can also be seamlessly integrated with loop-based switching systems, allowing you to route each side of the pedal separately. Super drive pedal!
Ik speel al meer dan 30 jaar gitaar en heb al vele drives gehad.
Dit is toch echt de beste! Geweldige sound van beide zijden!
Grote headroom, mooie gain-structuur. Staat ook goed in de mix bij spelen met band.
Zowel een strat (56 vintage RI) als een LP (classic) klinken er super op.
Kijk wat reviews op youtube dan snap je waarom ik enthousiast ben.
Kost wat maar dan heb je ook wat!

WAW! Dit is echt een kwalitatief pedaaltje! Zowel de boost- als drivezijde zijn enorm dynamisch en reageren erg goed op je aanslag. De boost vind ik fantastisch, niet zo veel mid boost zoals op een Tube Screamer, maar genoeg om wat extra punch te geven aan single coil pickups. Ook is er veel head room waardoor de originele klank in tact en zeer helder blijft. De drive zijde kostte mij iets meer tijd om af te stellen, er zit veel treble op en dat moet een beetje getemd worden. Het stacken van de 2 zijdes werkt geweldig, je krijgt heerlijke sustain, zonder al te veel extra ruis. Dikke aanrader!

Erg fijn pedaal, geeft net wat meer gain aan overdive kanaal van mijn buizenamp. Ook geeft hij over het cleankanaal al een prachtige overdrive. Voordeel is uiteraard de boost functie voor solo's.
