General

If you want to build towering walls of sound but your budget doesn't allow for two full-stack guitar amps, then MXR offer the affordable solution in the form of this M251 FOD pedal! This pocket-sized stompbox provides you the sounds of two modded amps which can then be blended as desired. The first sound is based on a high-gain amp with a mid-scoop, while the second sounds like a crunch channel with a punchy mid-range. Combine both and you'll get full and robust tone that can literally be twisted up and tinkered with using the Tone control. In addition, MXR have included an EQ mini-switch with flat, mid-scoop and mid-boost options, and have finished the M251 FOD overdrive/distortion with a stunning red-sparkle coating.
