Tom Morello and MXR have teamed up to treat Morello-fans to the key ingredient of the famed guitarist's signature sound: the MXR TBM1 Tom Morello Power 50 Overdrive. Whether you've got a straightforward combo set up in your bedroom or a forceful half-stack on stage, this overdrive effect delivers that raw, RATM-style sound.
The TBM1 Tom Morello Power 50: Based on Morello's Own Amp
The Power 50 can be seen as the preamp of Morello's favourite amp since MXR have used the same interface and MOSFET technology. Also, Morello likes to drop all of his external effects into an FX loop so MXR have naturally integrated one into the Power 50, allowing you to add a Dunlop Cry Baby® Wah or Digitech Whammy (neither come included) and get even closer to Tom's sound.
