General
The Danish people behind T-Rex combine high-tech with good old-fashioned craftsmanship to bring us the top-grade distortion of this green Vulture. Even though 'top-grade' might evoke thinking it's 'refined' the Vulture is no such thing, as it is meant for shredding. The Vulture is modelled after one of the very first T-Rex pedals - a device that had a muddy bass, a characteristic that can not be found on the Vulture. This pedal offers a throaty distortion, with plenty of bite.
Vulture: controls
Via the knobs you have plenty control over the amount of shred in your sound. The large white knobs are Gain, Level and Tone controls. The two smaller black controls are for Low Boost and Fat Boost. Low Boost allows you to vary between a distorted, small combo and (when turned to the right) a roaring 4x12 stack. Fat Boost simulates a larger speaker, as if you were employing a built-in speaker simulator.
