The natural next step up from the standard Steel String MKII, the Double Preamp edition doesn't just spit lush overdrive, but serves as a transistor-based analogue preamp packed up inside a pedalboard-friendly box. That means that this stompbox can be set up to support a modelling amplifier or power amp and can even perform as the middle-man between your guitar and an audio interface, a mixing desk, or of course, a valve amplifier. No matter how it's hooked up, as soon as you hit the Steel String switch, this pedal delivers the iconic Dumble SSS style sound of the original #001 Steel String Singer. This special Slight Return edition comes dipped in black and while it is based on the popular pedal that dropped in 2018, it comes with the Supreme packaging and layout.

Tweak the gain and volume to adjust the effect intensity and output level, flip the familiar Rock/Jazz switch to boost the bass or enhance the trebles at will, and if you want to push it even further, simply engage the Bright/Deep switch - of course, both mini-switches are activated and deactivated via the Supreme EQ footswitch. Emphasise the mid 800Hz to 1,200Hz frequency range by adjusting the Filter pot, customise the fullness via the Fat pot, and strike a parallel balance between the dry and effected signal to give the overdrive more focus by pushing the Clean pot further to the right.
