General

Joe Bonamassa likes a prominent, fat overdrive sound. This Way Huge WHE208 Overrated Special Overdrive signature pedal was designed according to the specifications of the famous blues guitarist. Way Huge founder Jeorge Tripps started with the foundation of an old Green Rhino and turned it into an overdrive for more prominent mids. To do Joe and his fans a favour, he also added a 500 Hz knob to give the low tones in those mids even more power. The Overrated Special gives your clean amp channel a raw edge, and gives a distorted channel an overwhelming amount of gain and sustain to achieve that typical Bonamassa-style solo sound.

NAMM 2016: Way Huge Sounds Bigger Than Ever!

There's plenty of new goodies to admire at NAMM 2016, including these three new pedals by Way Huge. The Green Rhino MKIV and Overrated Special (both overdrive pedals), and the Swollen Pickle Jumbo Fuzz MKIIS proudly offer a wealth of settings to adjust and an aptly huge sound. While these Way Huge pedals sound plenty big, their housings have been kept as compact as possible, which means they're very practical.
