Pioneer has introduced these two devices, the DDJ-RZ and the DDJ-RX, as the world's first DJ controllers for their very own specially-developed Rekordbox DJ software. The DDJ-RX is based on the DDJ-RZ, but has been optimised for the next generation of DJ software. Modifications in the DDJ-RX as opposed to the DDJ-SX
In appearance, the DDJ_RX looks very much like the DDJ_SX, but it has received some additions, including a Sequencer button, located at the top right, above the touch-sensitive pads. A capture function for the sampler has even been included. The Roll function has been replaced by the 'Pad FX 1', which offers even more creative elbow room. Furthermore, Pioneer has equipped each deck with a Quantise function, and restyled the console for optimal connectivity with Rekordbox.

DDJ-RX construction
The DDJ-RX is constructed according to a stand-alone algorithm. The decks on either side of the mixer section, the Needle Search function, the effect parameters - all are representative of the quality you've come to expect from Pioneer. In a console of this class, it's also possible to physically connect decks 1 and 3, or 2 and 4. Beautiful and practical lighting in the jogwheels won't leave you in the dark and make for an eye-catching show in the DJ booth. And don't forget the multifunctional touch-sensitive pads, filters on the mixer section, the applicable crossfader and the recognisable play/cue buttons. All these features and more make the DDJ-RX complete!
