General

Pioneer DJ's CRSS12 ('Cross Twelve') is the brand's take on an analogue turntable designed to embrace digital technology. That means it can serve as a traditional turntable for spinning old-school records, but can also be seamlessly integrated into any Rekordbox or Serato DJ-based set-up. In addition, the lay-out - which includes performance pads and an ever-useful little info display - caters to battle set-ups, offering quick-and-easy access to the controls.

Integrating the Pioneer DJ PLX-CRSS12

Besides software, the CRRS12 works seamlessly alongside other DJ-focussed hardware, including Pioneer's DJM Series mixers like the DJM-A9, the DJM-S7 and the DJM-S11. And, if you're running Rekordbox on your laptop, you can effortlessly integrate cues and loops, or get infinitely creative making on-the-fly remixes of your favourite tracks.

Special MAGVEL Clamp

Based on the popular PLX-1000, the CRSS12 features an upgraded switching power supply to help eliminate noise and vibrations, and comes housed in a robust, galvanised housing that boasts the strength and durability needed for intense performances. When it's used in DVS mode with the tone arm out of the way, you can stick the included MAGVEL clamp on your DVS vinyl for a custom feel in terms of weight and torque. k wil graag mijn enthousiasme delen over de Pioneer DJ PLX-CRSS12. Deze platenspeler is zonder twijfel de beste die ik ooit heb gebruikt! De geluidskwaliteit is ongeëvenaard en de bouwkwaliteit straalt professionaliteit uit. Of je nu een beginnende DJ bent of een doorgewinterde professional, deze platenspeler voldoet aan alle verwachtingen en gaat zelfs verder.

Wat ik bijzonder indrukwekkend vind, is hoe gebruiksvriendelijk en nauwkeurig de bediening is. Iedere keer dat ik hem gebruik, blijf ik verrast door de prestaties en betrouwbaarheid. De Pioneer DJ PLX-CRSS12 geeft mij momenteel de beste platendraaierervaring ooit!

De PLX-CRSS12 doet me denken aan de oude Technics SL 1200 MK2, die tot nu toe mijn beste vinylervaring bood. Echter, de Pioneer voelt als een echte upgrade. Een geweldige eigenschap van de PLX-CRSS12 is dat je de motorkracht kunt regelen. Wanneer je deze op 'slow' zet, krijg je precies dat vertrouwde gevoel van de Technics 1200 MK2. Bovendien, in tegenstelling tot de nieuwe Technics 1200 MK7, die tegenviel omdat je bij luid volume makkelijk geluid feedback krijgt door trillingen, geeft de PLX-CRSS12 geen geluid feedback, zelfs in een omgeving met hoog volume. Dit maakt de PLX-CRSS12 zelfs nog beter dan de oude Technics 1200 MK2.

De Pioneer DJ PLX-CRSS12 is echt een top product en ik kan hem iedereen aanbevelen!

Wrote the following about Pioneer DJ PLX-CRSS12 DJ Turntable/Controller

Ik heb nog veel vinyl platen en draai ook veel met Serato. Dit leek mij daarom de ultime draaitafel om zowel met vinyl te kunnen draaien als met Serato DVS.

Voor vinyl heb ik het idee dat het geluid is verbeterd ten op zichte van mijn vorige draaitafels (Technics SL1210 & Pioneer PLX-1000). De tonearm en de draaitafel in zijn algemeen voelt stabieler aan.

De Magvel clamp die je kan gebruiken om Serato aan te sturen werkt geweldig, beter dan ik had gedacht. Hij klampt zit direct goed op de vinyl plaat, en je haalt hem er ook makkelijk weer vanaf. Dit systeem werkt goed en bespaard mij ook zo af en toe een nieuw element.

De nieuwe buttons werken fijn en zitten op een juiste plek. Ik gebruik ze veel voor stems en voor de scratch bank, zodat de pads op de mixer op de hotcues kunnen blijven staan. Het nadeel is wel dat je de puck kwijt bent. Die mis ik af en toe met 7"singles.

De bouwkwaliteit is eigenlijk hetzelfde als de plx-1000, hij ziet er stevig uit en het lijkt erop dat het wel wat kan hebben. De looks is natuurlijk persoonlijk, maar mijn bevalt de matzwarte kleur wel.

Hij kost wel wat...
