Professional DJ headphones need to be able to withstand a lot of abuse. After all, you need to be able to count on them to perform every time, whether you're in a DJing a live show or working in the studio. In order to design a product that would meet these high standards, Philips collaborated with the Armin van Buuren, five-time winner of the Best International DJ award. It's only appropriate then, that Philips A3PRO are perfectly suited to DJs and audio professionals. Thanks to the extra-large drivers (maximum power 3000 mW), superior audio isolation and a closed design, the A3PRO headphones make every note powerful and compelling. In order to make it easier to use the Philips A3PRO, they come with a 6.3mm threaded adapter so you can use them with any of your audio devices, and the luxurious ear cushions are also replaceable.

Thanks to the powerful 50mm neodymium drivers, you can count on clear, dynamic, distortion-free audio. Even when you're listening at loud volumes or with high audio input, you will get an honest sound reproduction. Another nice feature is the closed backs of the ear pieces, which work to maximise the bass and prevent audio leakage. Not only do they make sure that the sound doesn't get out, they also make sure that sound doesn't get in! The ear pieces swivel 90 degrees, and they are equipped with luxurious removable ear cushions that were designed to be breathable and to have an optimal ergonomic fit. Finally, because the Philips A3PRO fold up nice and compact, they're super convenient to transport.

Côté son, l'audio est vraiment de qualité. La pression acoustique est satisfaisante même si pas la meilleure testée jusqu'à aujourd'hui. La présence des basses en ravira plus d'un. Cependant, sur certains morceaux joués on peut remarquer un léger recul des graves au profit des medium.
Ce casque est tout a fait recommandable et présente un bon rapport qualité/prix.

Tuurlijk de A5 is nog een slag beter, maar voor deze prijsklasse is het een topper. Ik heb er zelf een voor ruim 65 euro op de kop getikt.
