General

The CUT by Mixars is a no-nonsense mixer. It has everything you need in a battle mixer without any unnecessary bells and whistles. It's a real workhorse that you can depend on entirely, especially during particularly intense scratching sessions. This CUT comes standard with a mini Innofader that can handle quick movements with ease, even with heavy use. The rest of the front panel is pretty straightforward so nothing can get in your way, allowing you to focus on flaunting your DJ skills. Beat juggling and other skills of the craft that go with the hip hop DJ territory can be performed with ease.

Luxury in a basic battle mixer

Thanks to a built-in power supply unit, you won't need to use any separate adapters to power this puppy. Furthermore, it's equipped with a balanced XLR master output, an adjustable crossfader curve and a crossfader reverse function that inverts the crossfader's functionality. Its robust metal housing makes it more than ready for a life on the road.

Extra features

With its large knobs which feature excellent grip, the Mixars CUT ensures you won't miss a beat by fumbling with the controls. Also, you'll find VU meters per channel and on the master, a microphone input and long channel faders. At the same time, as this mixer is only 10 inches wide, it fits perfectly in between a set of turntables or multimedia players. The Mixars CUT is the perfect mixer for a battle DJ who doesn't want a lot of unnecessary bells and whistles distracting them from their scratching.

The Newest Addition to the Mixars Mixer Family: the UNO

Wednesday 4 January 2017 By Lizanne

Just weeks before the upcoming NAMM 2017 convention, Mixars announces the release of their latest mixer, the UNO. Based on the pictures and specifications, this is basically the middle-sized version of the brand's range of DJ battle mixers. It's larger and more comprehensive than the CUT, but more compact and with fewer functions than the DUO. The most remarkable feature is without a doubt the Galileo Kallisto crossfader!

NAMM 2016: RCF and dB Technologies Present Spin-Off Mixars

Thursday 21 January 2016 By Lizanne

The last couple weeks, we've only seen online teasers of the new brand, Mixars. Apparently, the brain behind this company is in Italy at dB Technologies! Yes, that's right. dB Technologies is known for a countless number of smooth-sounding active loud speakers. It's therefore pretty remarkable that this brand is announcing their debut in a time where the DJ market seems pretty over-saturated as it is. It's been years since a serious DJ brand appeared out of nowhere, and the Italians sure seems determined to succeed with their entry-level product range and is ready to take on some heavy competition.
