This Showtec DMX controller offers all the benefits of DMX technology with the simple controls of a 230V lighting controller. It provides twelve channels with 53 pre-installed programs and one programmable fixture. The pre-installed programs are only fit for conventional (par) lighting.

Wrote the following about Showtec Lite-12 12-channel DMX controller

Ideaal voor ons buurthuis, waar verschillende groepen vrijwilligers gebruik maken van deze lichtsturing. Leken en mensen met weinig ervaring kunnen spelenderwijs leren omgaan met deze lichtsturing, zonder dat de programma's per ongeluk gewist kunnen worden.
Via dimmerpacks stuurt het de par spots op het toneel / podium aan. Het gebruik is bedoeld voor bandavonden, toneeluitvoeringen en cabaret.
Enig minpuntje is dat niet supersnel geschakeld kan worden tussen de functie modes: met de selectieknop moet je het hele rijtje aflopen. Dus bijvoorbeeld bij een filtsende opkomst op maat muziek van een cabarettier moet je enkele andere modes langslopen tot de hold dimmer functie voor statische uitlichting.
Maar misschien vinden we spelenderwijs een oplossing...
