General
Whilst the entry-level version only gives you a brief taste of the automatic light show, the L1 unlocks this feature in full: there’s no longer a time limit on self-generated shows. Your audio project is effortlessly transformed into a complete, synchronised light show, ready to be played live. However, automatic generation here runs on 128 channels, rather than the full 512; more than enough for a compact lighting set with a handful of moving heads, LED par cans or a smoke machine. Recorded shows from an external DMX console will, as with every LAKYX model, continue to run on the full 512 channels.
M-Live LAKYX L1: who this version is suitable for
For solo musicians, small bands or duos performing with a straightforward lighting set-up, 128 channels are often more than enough to make an impression. You build your sets, assign fixtures from the included library of thousands of devices, and LAKYX does the rest during every performance. If your lighting rig later grows into something bigger, upgrading to an L5 or L5W is simply a matter of swapping the unit; your shows and settings move with it.
