General

The Creator 1024 PRO is the big brother of the Creator 1024. This unit is a size up and offers even more operating power. It can control to up to 80 armatures simultaneously with 40 DMX channels per armature and still, the Creator 1024 PRO remains accessible and easy to use. You can store up to 60 chases or scenes with this controller and these can consists of no fewer than 600 steps. Various hotkeys ensure that all functions are within reach and that you can make quick live interventions. It also includes a flight case.

Creator 1024 PRO: Quick and Effective Programming

Programming is often viewed as a difficult job. With the Creator 1024 it's a piece of cake, however, especially thanks to the built-in Shape Generator. It contains pre-programmed motions, colour fades and dim curves that can easily be applied to your own lighting installation. The speed and extent of these motions can be adjusted manually and with the Personality Files, it's easy to use the table for various installations. The functions of the connected armatures are assigned to the right channels as much as possible. These files can be stored on a stick via the built-in USB port.

Wrote the following about Showtec Creator 1024 PRO DMX Controller

Ik heb deze tafel nu ruim een jaar en gebruik hem tot volle tevredenheid.
Qua werking en opbouw is de tafel duidelijk afgeleid van de Avolites Pearl Tiger. Wie daar mee werkt, kan ook met deze tafel werken.
Echt een goed en zeker betaalbaar alternatief voor de Tiger! (die laatste helaas uitgefaseerd is, ben benieuwd of Showtec in dit gat gaat springen met een nog grotere tafel, bijv de creator 2048, maar dan in de pro versie)
Voor kleinere tot middelgrote projecten een fijne tafel, die mij nog geen moment in de steek heeft gelaten.
Maar de tafel heeft ook een aantal "verborgen effecten" kwam er laatst achter dat bij toevoegen van de dimmershape, als je in de dimmershape "keuzelijst" omhoog scrollt ipv omlaag je dim intensiteit met 50% afneemt. Handig, hoef je niet je dimmershape dus bij max output te gebruiken.

Minpuntje heb ik toch wel, de handleiding is aardig beknopt en heb er zelf de handleiding van de Tiger naast gehad om bepaalde functies beter te begrijpen.

Met het uitkomen van de nieuwste firmware (begin augustus 2016) is er de mogelijkheid bij gekomen om ook palletten in je fixtures-files via de personality builder toe te voegen en zijn de shapes aardig uitgebreid, nadeel van de nieuwste update is dat shows laden en bewaren , nu wel erg lang duurt (wel 10min!!!)

Ik hoop iig dat ik nog vele shows met deze tafel mag maken, gewoon goede tafel voor zijn geld.
