General
The Stentor SR1438E Student II 1/2 is designed for beginner double bassists who want to enjoy playing straight away. This double bass is made entirely from solid tonewoods: the top is carved from spruce, whilst the sides and back are made from maple. The student benefits from an ebony fingerboard, which enhances playability and durability. The solid brass tuning pegs ensure stable tuning, ideal for longer lessons or rehearsals. Stentor supplies this set complete with all accessories: you’ll receive a sturdy bow made from high-quality wood, as well as a padded rayon case to ensure hassle-free transport and storage. Thanks to its 1/2 size, this double bass is perfect for young players and children.
