General

The 1SKB-iSF4U Studio Flyer Rack Case by SKB is extremely robust, waterproof and shockproof! With 4U of rack space inside, there's room for an audio interface and a recorder, for example. It also has an adjustable work surface with 8 rubber clamps to hold a laptop securely in place. The case has TSA-approved locks and is easy to transport thanks to the built-in trolley system with wheels and a handle.

Great case, very sturdy. But a lot larger than the 2u depth wise. Ideally SKB will make one in the 2u sizing just 4u height.

Uitstekend product! Lekker robuust en goed uitgedacht. Ik heb mijn audioapparatuur voor live-optredens erin geschroefd. Ging met het grootste gemak, al is het verplaatsen van de klemmetjes op de juiste hoogte wel een gepriegel. Wat ik alleen niet snap is waarom de gaten waarin je vastschroeft van kunststof zijn gemaakt, het ziet er fragiel uit. Dat hadden ze best van metaal mogen maken.

Transport is gemakkelijk met de wieltjes en de uitschuifbare arm. Op de bovenkant van de kist kun je je laptop neerleggen en klemmen met de verplaatsbare rubberen klemmen. Overigens is het niet aan te raden om de laptop in de kist te houden tijdens het transport, want het verschuift.

Fijne stevige case met voldoende ruimte voor inbouw voor- en achteraan en wat extra accessoires in de voorziene vakken. Transporteert makkelijk door de wieltjes en uitschuifbare arm. Zodra in gebruik kan je je laptop op zijn plaats houden door de verplaatsbare rubberen klemmen rondom de laptop te plaatsen. Hou er wel rekening meer deze rubbers een laptop niet op zijn plaats kunnen houden in de case tijdens transport!
