General
Stagg's PPD-52 is an attractively-priced, robust and reliable double bass drum pedal with a double chain drive. The angle of the 4-way beater is adjustable as is the spring tension and the drive shaft. The pedal even comes with an extra spring pack so you can turn it into two separate pedals. The base plates are made of steel and have anti-slip rubber on the bottom.

Besteld op basis van de paar reviews hieronder uit 2019, maar ik heb helaas een andere ervaring.
De pedalen maken teveel lawaai.
Vooral het linker pedaal. Bij iedere hit hoor je het zwarte gedeelte van de basis (waaraan de klopper vastzit) tegen een van de pillaren aanstoten.
Afstellen heeft geen zin - het geluid blijft zeer storend aanwezig.
Wellicht geschikt voor een akoestisch drumstel waardoor het geluid mogelijk wat minder opvalt, maar zeker niet geschikt voor e-drums!

Goed stevig pedaal, makkelijk in elkaar te steken. Het setje bijhorende sleutels is een leuk extraatje.
1 minpuntje Bax.... jammer dat Bpost opnieuw niet leverde op de beloofde datum...... schuld ligt wederom bij Bpost....
