General
It's never too early to start making music! That's why Ludwig teamed up with well-known drummer Questlove to develop the Pocket Kit, a drum kit designed especially for children from four to ten years old. It's perfect for who are still learning their first rhythms on a real drum kit instead of a snare alone. The Pocket Kit has everything you need to get started including shells, cymbals, stands, a bass drum pedal, a drum throne, a pair of sticks and even a drum key! It comes in a Red Wine Sparkle finish and all the hardware is black.
Configuration
In order to facilitate this age group, this kit has very compact shell sizes. It has a 16x14-inch bass drum, a 10x7-inch tom, a 13x11-inch floor tom and a 12x5-inch snare. These sizes allow young drummers to reach all the shells and the pedal. As well as drums, this kit includes a hi-hat on a stand and a crash ride cymbal on a cymbal arm.
