This unusual set of Pearl gear (with a Meinl crash cymbal included) is something you don't come across every day. Luckily, Bax-shop managed to obtain a few of these sets so that we can offer them to you!

Practice makes perfect

Playing this set might take a bit of getting used to, but as we all know: practice makes perfect. Once you get the hang of it, though, you'll be able to create a wide variety of sounds. Push the strainer down to make the 5.5-inch deep snare drum produce that typical BA sound. Quickly re-engaging the strainer and muffling the drumhead with your hand will result in the obligatory 'DUM'. Of course, muffling the batter head is entirely optional. You can also choose to let the snare sound ring a little, as long as you ensure the sound still matches the desired effect, of course. Last but not least, you can use the crash and splash cymbals to quickly finish with the familiar 'TSS', to ensure everyone knows that the punch line has been uttered. The splash cymbal also allows you to add all manner of extra effects. With its short sustain and sharp sound, it's an indispensable part in typical BA-DUM-TSS situations.

All in all this unusual set is great for agile drummers who want to place extra emphasis on the punch line of a joke, or for beginner drummers who still need to practice their BA-DUM-TSS skills!
