This Smokey Chrome-finished set is part of Pearl's famous Export Series. In 2013, Pearl relaunched this series with its Superior Shell Technology, and the Export EXX705D-C21 Smokey Chrome has that authentic, renowned Export sound!

Pearl Export EXX705/C21 Smokey Chrome: poplar and mahogany

The Pearl Export's shells are made from 6 plies of poplar and Asian mahogany. They are 7.5 mm thick, have 45-degree bearing edges and are paired with 1.6mm triple-flanged hoops, which give this Pearl Export kit a deeper and richer sound, every time you hit it.

Hardware

Pearl's redesigned lugs are in minimal contact with the shell, which allows for greater resonance, and they also give the Smokey Chrome Pearl Export EXX705/C21 a very modern look. This drum set comes equipped with Pearl's new HWP-830 series of hardware, a P-90 Demonator bass drum pedal and four cymbals.
