General
Export Series kits are the most popular that Pearl have ever produced, and for good reason. This fierce five-piece comes in High Voltage Blue and complete with a full HWP-834 hardware pack, a P-930 Demonator kick pedal, and a Sabian SBR Performance cymbal pack. Every shell has been enhanced by Pearl's own Superior Shell Technology; a process where the wood is well dried out before being carefully bonded to ensure a strong yet resonant construction.
The Pearl EXX705NBR Export: Sound First
Pearl faithfully maintains their 'Sound First' philosophy and with that in mind, the newly designed lugs are now more compact to ensure minimal shell contact and superb resonance. Meanwhile, the Opti-Loc tom mounting system adds stability and only further enhances the resonant qualities of this Export Series kit. In terms of configuration, this edition of the Pearl Export includes a 20 inch bass drum, 10 inch and 12 inch toms, a 14 inch floor tom and a 5.5 inch by 5.5 inch snare - all of which feature 6-ply shells made of Asian mahogany and poplar to guarantee that classic and rich, Pearl-grade sound.
The Pearl HWP-834 Hardware Pack
Put together for serious beginners, this complete kit comes including a three-piece Sabian SBR cymbal pack as well as an HWP-834 Series hardware pack. That means that next to the five-piece drum kit, you're getting two adjustable BC-830 boom cymbal stands, a H-830 hi-hat stand, an S-830 snare drum stand and TH-701 tom mounts. To finish, and so you can pull fat sound out of the included kick drum, Pearl include a P-90 Demonator bass drum pedal.
