General

Roland's compact TM-2 Trigger Module enables drummers to quickly and easily add electronic percussion to an acoustic drum kit. Two trigger inputs support various Roland pads and drum triggers, while 100 professional sounds have been engineered to provide optimal digital additions to your acoustic kit.

Roland TM-2 Trigger Module

This high-quality drum module places the best, studio-grade multi-effects at your disposal. It's also possible to trigger your own WAV sounds, loops and backing rhythms by means of an SDHC memory card. By combining the TM-2 with Roland products such as the BT-1 Bar Trigger Pad, the KT-10 Kick Trigger Pedal or the acoustic drum triggers from the RT series, you can create a powerful hybrid drum kit that fuses acoustic and electronic elements in a simple and inexpensive way.

The system can be quickly and easily mounted on a hi-hat stand or drum rack and can be powered by batteries. With the simple buttons of the intuitive control panel you can assign sounds to trigger inputs and store them as kits. The large buttons are easy to operate and enable you to quickly switch between kits during the set.

MIDI Options

The MIDI input and output allow the TM-2 to communicate with external devices. As such, you can use the TM-2 to trigger the sounds of V-Drums modules, keyboards, synthesizers and sound modules. It's also possible to set up a MIDI connection with a computer, which means you can record MIDI data and trigger sounds from popular music software plug-ins. Additionally, the built-in sounds of the TM-2 and the user sounds on your SDHC memory card can also be triggered using an external MIDI device.

Het beste aan deze module vind ik de grootte ervan. Het past perfect in een klein koffertje en kan zo overal mee. Je kan het ook monteren op een statief dankzij het meegeleverde armpje. Minpunt vind ik de wat magere klanken die er op zitten maar dat kan opgelost worden als je zelf je eigen klanken erop zet.
