This Meinl Marshmallow Practice Pad is a 6-inch practice pad. Its compact size makes this pad very easy to take with you to rehearsals and shows, or at all when travelling. The surface of this pad features the so-called "marshmallow" material: a soft type of foam which also sticks out quite a bit, cushioning the hard hits and keeping quiet practice a good option. But because of this material, it is not suddenly as if you are practising on a cushion - in fact, enough rebound remains available, keeping your sticks bouncing along sufficiently. The underside has non-slip material and placing it on a cymbal stand is also possible.
