Promark R5BAG ActiveGrip 5B Rebound Balance drumsticks

At first glance, you might think this is just a regular pair of 5B drum sticks with black paint. There's more to these sticks than meets the eye, however. The black layer is actually a special ActiveGrip layer. This Promark patented material gets stickier when your hands get warmer, and that's good news for drummers who get sweaty hands and slippery sticks. The special thing about ActiveGrip is that it's not rough on your hands like other types of grip, and as such it won't affect your technique. This layer is nice and thin too, so the stick has a standard 5B thickness and weight.

Rebound Balance

This pair of sticks has Rebound Balance weight distribution. That means that a relatively large portion of the weight is at the back end of the stick. In order to achieve this, the shoulder of the stick is longer than with a Forward Balance stick. The result is lighter playing and a stick that is more suited for playing with a lot of finesse and dexterity. The rather long teardrop tip makes it possible to get clear articulation and stick definition.
