Promark has taken a good look at their current stick design and enhanced it. The diameter, length, and tip shape has remained the same while the shoulder has been improved, resulting in the Select Balance series, with a distinction between Rebound and Forward Balance sticks. The RBH565AW Rebound Balance sticks feature an elongated shoulder, which means the weight of the stick is at the back. This allows for a smoother rebound, which drummers who play with a lot of finesse and skill are sure to appreciate. Its counterpart, Forward Balance, is designed for more speed and power.
These sticks are made of hickory, which is the most commonly-used wood type for drum sticks due to its combination of light weight and durability. The tip is teardrop shaped and has a large contact area. These sticks can therefore deliver a full, dark sound on drums and cymbals in particular. They're a popular 5A model that's versatile enough for any type of music!
