General

At Vic Firth, they put a lot of energy into inventing and developing new drumsticks. Many of these don't make it into a drummer's hands, but the Modern Jazz Collection is a series of sticks they have made available anyway. Each pair has at least one special feature. The MJC4, for example, is a stick made of maple wood, something we don't often see. It has a 5B diameter, but here the shoulder is stretched long for good rebound. The small, wooden barrel tip lets you play with a clearly articulated sound, especially on cymbals.
