When he's not busy making Oscar-winning films, Questlove spins innovative beats for The Roots whether on stage or in The Tonight Show. His Vic Firth signature sticks have been modded in all the right places to support the complex work of the renaissance-man himself. At 17 inches, these sticks are a touch longer-than-average so they can easily reach the sweet spot at the back of Questlove's snare and prevent his knuckles from rapping against the rim. A custom black anti-slip grip means he no longer has to wash his hands in Coke to maintain a firm hold, and the thin diameter couples with teardrop tips to give light and subtle details the prominence they deserve.

Beste stokken waar ik tot nu toe mee heb gespeeld! Licht super in de hand en fijn om te spelen met wat extra lengte!

De extra grip is erg fijn voor lichte stokken zoals deze, erg fijne reach. Mocht je geen zin hebben in de grip, dan raad ik de stokken van jojo Mayer aan, die lijken er erg op.

Erg fijne stokken die goed in de hand liggen. Je hebt een verre reach dus daar is die 'sweetspot' wel mee te bereiken. Wat ook erg fijn is, is dat ze ondanks ze vrij lang zijn en een lak laag hebben toch erg licht zijn. Het enige nadeel vond ik dat ik na een tijdje gespeeld te hebben blaren op mijn wijsvingers kreeg door de zwarte grip laag.
