General
The Audix D6X is a dynamic instrument microphone that builds on the popular D6, and is specially designed for a wide range of applications in the studio, live performances and broadcasting. Thanks to its compact design and light weight, this microphone is easy to position, for example on a kick drum, large toms or bass amplifiers. A unique feature of the D6X is the switch that allows you to easily choose between three sound profiles: ‘Deep’ for the classic D6 sound, ‘Balanced’ for a richer mid-range and ‘Natural’ for a more linear response. This allows you to effortlessly mic a variety of instruments, from drums to guitars and percussion. The VLM capsule guarantees deep bass and clear transients, whilst the cardioid polar pattern ensures effective isolation from ambient noise.
