This unique stereo effects unit, featuring an algorithm specially developed by the Dutch company 112dB, combines advanced resonator technology with intuitive controls for unprecedented sound shaping. At its heart are five chromatically tuned resonant delay lines that can mimic the resonance of physical objects, instrument bodies, spaces and structures. Thanks to the chromatic tuning, you can effortlessly create musical harmonies and chord structures, whilst the built-in envelope follower adds dynamic movement to every sound.

The Erica Synths Razornator goes further

The Razornator goes beyond a traditional resonator. The audio signal passes through a carefully designed signal chain featuring a powerful gain stage (up to +24 dB for subtle to heavy analogue overdrive), a resonant low-pass filter, five individually adjustable resonators, a compressor, an equaliser and a fully balanced stereo output. The result is a rich, lively and harmonically complex sound that fits perfectly into electronic music, sound design, live performance and studio productions. With twelve directly accessible parameters, extensive preset options, preset morphing and full MIDI integration, the Razornator offers both immediate creative inspiration and in-depth control for the discerning user. The resonators can also be played via MIDI, transforming the unit into an expressive instrument in its own right. Encased in a high-quality aluminium housing and featuring a true stereo signal path, the Razornator is a powerful addition to any modern studio or live setup.
