Looking for strings that make your five-string bass sound very bright? The ones in this D'Addario EPS300-5 ProSteels Custom Light 43-127 set are made of stainless steel that reacts very well with the magnetic field of your pickups, thus adding tightly defined highs and strongly projected mids to your sound. Moreover, the three thickest strings (B-E-A) are taperwound, the winding is somewhat thinner at the ends, more specifically where the string rests on the bridge. These strings are optimised for PRS bass guitars, but also fit other brands.
