General

La Bella Super Polished bass strings are right in between flats and rounds. They start as stainless steel roundwounds and are then intensively polished, so that the ridges feel much smoother than with semi-rounds or groundwounds. So you get a tight attack and definition, but with a smooth, "buttery" playing feel. This 4-string set has standard tension, a hex core for better intonation and is suitable for long scale basses, both top-load and string-through-body (do check the 37" winding length).
