Na een tijd met een B snaar op de plaats van mijn E snaar te hebben gespeeld weer teruggegaan naar de E snaar en deze snarenset gekozen. Tot nu toe erg tevreden over de spanning en de sound die ervanaf komt. Kwaliteit zoals te verwachten is van EB.

Vorig jaar de overstap gemaakt van Rotosound naar Ernie Ball Cobalt (2731). De Rotosounds hebben in het begin meer helderheid maar dit is na een paar keer spelen weg. De Ernie Ball Cobalt serie daarentegen klinken in het begin weliswaar iets minder "helder" maar blijven langere tijd goed klinken tov de Rotosound Roundwound Stainless steel. Output van de Ernie Ball Cobalt snaren is iets hoger dan de Rotosounds. Snaarsterkte is goed, hoge "bends" gaan moeiteloos zonder breuk. Ernie Ball Cobalts zijn duurder maar dat compenseert doordat ze dus langer goed blijven klinken

Top snaren.

Gekocht omdat mijn idool ze gebruikt. Heerlijk in het laag. Ze gaan al een halfjaar mee. Ze klinken nu wel dood maar nogsteeds een geweldige sound. Zeker een aanrader.

tip: Snaren goed schoonmaken na gebruik. Er gaat snel vuil op zitten waardoor de levensduur van de snaren minder word.

Wrote the following about Ernie Ball 2731 Cobalt Power Slinky Electric Bass Guitar Strings

Volgens mij zit er best een lekker geluid in deze snaren, het stemmen nadat ik de snaren op mijn bas gedraaid had klonk in ieder geval hoopvol. Na zo'n eerste stem rondje rek ik de snaren altijd wat op om het snel ontstemmen in het begin te voorkomen. Tijdens dit oprekken brak de E snaar.. Ik hoop dat dit aan mijn exemplaar ligt, maar ik denk niet dat ik daar ooit nog achter ga komen..
