In the Warwick EMP Coated 38300 ML 5B Stainless Steel Low B 40-130 set, you'll find five strings for electric bass, with a low B added. That B string is tapered, which means it is wound slightly thinner where it crosses the bridge. This gives the string more room to vibrate and also keeps the action from getting too high. All strings in this set are stainless steel and have been treated with a special, protective coating that prevents corrosion and repels dirt and sweat.
