General

This J-bass from Fazley is a true classic. The two JB pickups allow you to recognise that funky, grunting, expressive bass sound heard on many albums and tracks. The passive pickups have simple tone controls: two knobs for the volume of each of the pickups and a tone knob. This entry-level instrument is ideal for the beginning bass guitarist who wants to play on a passive J-bass. But even for advanced players, this Fazley FJB218SB can take to the stage as a back-up bass without any problems.

Fazley FJB218SB with a 'classic' look

'Classic' is also the look. This Fazley FJB218SB not only has that recognisable body shape of the J-bass, but is finished in a classic 3-tone sunburst with a three-layer red pearloid pickguard. It gives the bass guitar a classy vintage look. The hardware is chrome-plated and the tuning machines are of the vintage open-back type. The bridge is firmly attached to the basswood body with 5 screws for good sustain. The bridge saddles allow for good intonation.

I wanted to get back in to playing bass. I chose the FJB218 as I love Jazz basses. The bass is amazing for the price. Very well built no sharp fret ends and very little fret buzz. Ive polished the frets and put on a set of flat wound strings and it plays amazing. Thank you Bax!

Ik gebruik deze amp als oefenverstetkrr op mijn kleine studeerkamer. Heeft idd een lichte ruis, met een geaarde stekker zou dit wellicht minder zijn. De lichte ruis stoort mij echter niet. Doet wat een oefenamp moet doen. Ik ben tevreden.

Voor een beginners bas top om op te oefenen en te voelen of de bas spelen iets voor mij is.
Zeker ook fijn dat ik gelijk een versterker en snoer erbij had dus ik kon gelijk de buren gek maken ;)

Hij doet zn werk, echter soms pakt hij wel de verkeerde snaren op dus let goed op dat je op het schermpje de goede snaar ziet staan, voordat je aan de knopjes gaat draaien

Naast de drums wil mijn zoon ook graag basgitaar leren spelen. Voor zijn muziekexamen moet hij een ander instrument leren dan hij normaal speelt en daarvoor zochten we een beginnersgitaar. Mijn zoon is er erg blij mee. De gitaar werd snel geleverd.
