The JET Guitars JJB-305 takes the proven and affordable design of the four-string JJB-300 and adds a fifth string. All without sacrificing sound or playing comfort. With a body made of roasted poplar, the bass gets a slightly lighter resonance and the wood moves less with temperature changes than regular poplar. The neck made of Canadian roasted maple feels tight and responsive, and comes with the familiar 12-inch fingerboard radius and modern C-neck profile. So the JJB-305 always sits comfortably in your hand, and plays away just as nicely as the 4-string version!

YHL Pickups and versatility

At the heart of the JJB-305 are YHL's two custom-made single-coil pickups. With two separate volume controls and one master tone control, you have direct control over the balance between neck and bridge pickups. You can choose the round, full sound of the neck pickup, the tight articulation of the bridge and everything in between. That makes this bass just as useful for funk and soul as for rock or studio work. The whole thing is neatly finished in a tasteful dark blue colour, which makes the neck and hardware shine.
