General

First impressions are ever-lasting, so it's a good thing that the Lakland Skyline 44-01 looks as good as it sounds. This ash-bodied bass guitar combines a natural gloss finish with lighter wood types and black hardware for enhanced elegance, while the 1.6" tapered maple neck takes care of a smooth playing feel.

Full Tonal Control

But since it's what's inside that matters, Lakland has armed the Skyline 44-01 with an active preamp system and two Bartolini MK-1 split-coil soapbar pickups that deliver rich, full-bodied amplified sound. To finish, the preamp hands you full control over the output via a blend pot, volume pot and detailed 3-band section.
