The Sadowsky MetroExpress Vintage M/J Bass is a quality electric bass guitar with high-quality parts, without having to pay top dollar. For instance, it is equipped with Sadowsky's own high-quality Quick String Release bridge and lightweight open-gear tuning machines. This combination ensures smooth tuning of the instrument with extremely precise intonation. A special heat treatment gives the neck and fingerboard excellent stability and a beautiful, balanced sound. This so-called Roasted Maple also has a warm natural colour, which gives this bass a classy look. MetroExpress: versatile equipment

It is equipped with active tone control with bass and treble boost, volume and balance controls, allowing you to adjust the sound to the musical context. The Sadowsky hum-cancelling J-style pickup in the neck position is ideal for warm silky smooth cleans, while a Sadowsky Humbucker is located in the bridge position, allowing for a little more punch. Both pickups are designed to minimise noise. The active pre-amp can also be switched off using the push-pull switch located in the bass control, giving you a more classic sound.
