General

Sadowsky's Metroline Series includes a diverse collection of high-end, German-built basses. This 21-Fret Vintage M/J Bass indulges genre-hopping 5-string bassists who give high priority to extreme playing comfort. Made from American swamp ash, the lightweight J-style body comes comfortably contoured and has been bolted to a snug C-profile maple neck finished with a maple fretboard with a 12-inch radius.

The MetroLine 21-5 Vintage M/J Bass: Ultra-Versatile Pickups

In terms of tone-shaping capabilities, the Sadowsky MetroLine 21-5 Vintage M/J Bass has been decked out with a hum-cancelling single-coil pickup in the middle position and an MM-style humbucker at the bridge position, both of which can be dropped in series, parallel or singlecoil mode and fine-tuned using the active 2-band EQ and vintage tone control. Meanwhile, the premium hardware including Sadowsky Light open gear tuners, a quick-string-release bridge and the Just-A-Nut III nut keep the tuning firmly in check, and the included Portabag, hex key set and S-security strap locks only sweeten the deal.
