The Schecter C-4 Standard Charcoal Satin is a modern 4-string electric bass guitar from the affordable Standard series. The instrument combines comfortable playability with a sturdy construction and a striking appearance. The body is crafted from ash and is paired with a bolt-on neck made from roasted maple and a rosewood fingerboard. With a 34-inch scale length, a Thin C neck profile and 24 jumbo frets, this bass offers a familiar playing feel for a wide range of playing styles. The Charcoal Satin finish and black hardware give it a sleek and contemporary look.

Powerful passive pickups

In terms of tone, the C-4 Standard is equipped with two Schecter Diamond Standard Soapbar pickups. Both the bridge and neck positions feature a passive humbucker pickup with a powerful output and a versatile character. The independent volume and tone controls for both pickups give you plenty of control over the final sound. This allows you to precisely adjust the balance between the bridge and neck positions and switch between a tighter, more direct sound and a warmer, fuller bass response. The passive electronics keep the controls straightforward and eliminate the need for a battery for the tone control.

Comfortable construction

The roasted maple neck is bolt-on and features a Thin C profile that sits comfortably in the hand. The rosewood fingerboard has a 16-inch radius and is fitted with 24 jumbo frets, making both rhythm playing and melodic bass lines feel comfortable. The Schecter Diamond Bass bridge and Schecter tuners ensure reliable hardware, whilst the 38 mm wide graphite nut contributes to stable string action. The matching SCSGR-6B case is available separately and is not included as standard. The C-4 Standard is therefore a complete bass guitar for home, studio and stage use.
