General

The Sire Marcus Miller M6H 5L Black Swirl is a modern, left-handed, 5-string headless bass guitar designed for bassists seeking maximum playability, perfect balance and a versatile tone. Thanks to its headless construction, the instrument is significantly lighter and better balanced, minimising neck dive. The 33 to 35-inch multiscale scale length ensures that each string is optimally tensioned, resulting in a tight low B string and a comfortable playing experience across the entire neck. The included official Sire gig bag makes the bass ready for transport straight away.

Modern electronics and powerful tone

The combination of a mahogany and sandblasted swamp ash body delivers a warm foundation with plenty of definition and excellent resonance. The Marcus Pure-H Revolution humbuckers deliver a powerful, noise-free tone suitable for a wide range of musical styles. Combined with the Marcus Heritage-3 preamp, you have access to an active 3-band EQ with adjustable mid-frequency and a pickup variation switch. Thanks to the active/passive switching, you can easily switch between a transparent vintage sound and a modern, powerful bass response that adapts effortlessly to any situation.

Comfortable construction and high-quality finish

The five-piece neck, crafted from hard maple and mahogany, features a comfortable C-profile and is fitted with a rosewood fingerboard with Edgeless™ rolled fretboard edges. This gives the neck a smooth feel, allowing you to play effortlessly across all 24 medium jumbo stainless steel frets. The individual Sire headless bridges provide stable string action with a string spacing of 18 mm. The unique Black Swirl finish ensures that every bass has its own distinctive look, whilst the black hardware and aluminium knobs complete the modern design.
