General
The Sire Marcus Miller M7+ A5F Brown Sunburst is a fretless 5-string electric bass guitar designed for bassists who demand maximum expressiveness and modern performance. The combination of a North American alder or swamp ash body with a solid flame maple top delivers a rich, powerful tone and a luxurious appearance. Thanks to the fretless design, you gain complete control over glissandos, vibrato and subtle tonal nuances. The modern body shape and comfortable C-profile neck also make this bass exceptionally playable, both on stage and in the studio.
Versatile electronics for professional players
The Marcus Pure-H Revolution humbuckers deliver a powerful output with minimal noise and excellent definition. Combined with the Marcus Miller Heritage-3 preamp, you have access to a comprehensive 3-band EQ with adjustable mid-frequency control for highly precise tone shaping. The active/passive switch allows you to switch instantly between a modern active sound and a natural passive tone. In addition, both pickups feature their own mini-toggle switch, enabling you to choose between series, split and parallel modes, making this bass suitable for virtually any musical style.
Luxury finish and high-quality hardware
The hard maple neck is combined with an ebony fingerboard featuring Edgeless™ rounded fret edges for a smooth playing feel. Thanks to the 35-inch scale length on the 5-string model, even the low B string remains tight and well-defined. The Marcus Miller Heavy Mass Custom bridge ensures optimum sustain and stable string transmission, whilst the Sire diecast tuning machines maintain tuning reliability. The black hardware contrasts beautifully with the Brown Sunburst finish, placing this M7+ A5F at the very top of the Sire range, both visually and technically.
