The Sire Marcus Miller V7+ A5 Lake Placid Blue is the flagship model of the Sire bass guitar range and was developed in collaboration with Marcus Miller. This 5-string J-model bass combines a classic design with modern innovations and is suitable for virtually any playing style. Whether you play with your fingers, use slap techniques or a pick, this bass delivers a full, dynamic sound. The North American alder body forms the basis for a powerful, balanced sound with solid low end, clear mid-range and sparkling highs, ideal for a wide range of musical genres.

Superior playing comfort

The hard maple neck with a satin finish feels fast and comfortable, whilst the ebony fingerboard ensures a direct response and a clear tonal character. Thanks to the Edgeless™ rolled fretboard edges, the neck feels instantly familiar and your hand glides effortlessly across the fingerboard. The natural bone nut contributes to optimal tone transmission and tuning stability. The Marcus Miller Modern S bridge utilises a string-through-body construction for extra sustain, tighter string tension and precise intonation. Premium open-gear tuning machines and chrome-plated hardware complete the high-quality design.

Versatile electronics

The Marcus Super-J Revolution single-coil pickups are designed to combine the character of classic vintage Jazz Bass pickups with modern definition and dynamics. Together with the Marcus Heritage-3 preamp, you have access to a comprehensive active 3-band EQ with adjustable mid-frequency. The mini-toggle switch allows you to switch easily between active and passive modes, whilst volume, tone control and pickup balance remain available in both modes. This makes the V7+ A5 an extremely versatile bass guitar that adapts effortlessly to studio recordings, rehearsals and live performances.
