The Squier Classic Vibe Active '70s Jazz Bass V combines authentic '70s design with modern active electronics, designed specifically for the 5-string bassist. The built-in 9-volt preamp offers comprehensive tone control with master volume, pickup blend, treble and bass boost, plus a convenient switch to switch between active and passive use. Thanks to the Fender Designed Alnico Noiseless pickups, this 5-string bass delivers a clear, powerful and interference-free signal, suitable for a variety of playing styles and music genres.
Classic Vibe Active '70s Jazz Bass V: Vintage feel
The body is made of poplar with a high-gloss polyurethane finish and has a comfortable C-shaped neck made of tinted maple. The maple fingerboard features pearloid block inlays, which add to the vintage character of the bass. The HiMass bridge provides extra sustain and resonance, while the nickel-plated hardware ensures a stylish finish. The real bone nut ensures optimum response and tuning stability, also for the extra low B string.
