The VOX Starstream Bass Artist HL5 is designed for bassists who want to combine modern looks with serious performance. The headless design is compact, perfectly balanced and focused on playing comfort, while the VOX Headless System ensures fast and precise tuning with excellent tuning stability.

For your tone, you're in the right place here with Aguilar AG5M pickups and the Aguilar OBP-3 preamp. The result is a powerful, tight bass sound that stays clear in the mix, with an extended 3-band EQ (boost/cut) and a preamp bypass switch for a more direct, passive sound.

The base consists of an alder body with a maple neck and rosewood fingerboard, complemented by a VSS frame made of resin and alder wood. The ergonomic neck-body transition helps with vibration transfer and plays smoothly in any style. This bass is made in Japan and comes with a VOX Custom Bass Gig Bag.
