General

This pack of D'Addario XL Electric Series bass strings don't just offer bassists optimal tension in lower tunings, but promise 131% improved tuning stability over other standard strings as well as up to 42% more resistance to heavier playing techniques. The XTB50105 strings have a special carbon-treated steel core, are secured to the ball-end via D'Addario's own unique fusion-twist, and feature a specially formulated coating to extend their lifespan by up to three times. The coating is so thin that it's unnoticeable beneath the fingers, resulting in a natural playing feel.
