These LR-40 Hi-Beam Lite stainless steel strings from DR Strings have a round core. As a result, unlike strings with a hexagonal core (hex-core), dirt and moisture cannot get inside and the strings therefore stay clear sounding longer. This set for the electric bass guitar is perfect for the bass player who wants punch and clarity in his sound. Because extra time and attention has been paid to these handmade strings, they have a longer lifespan and are very flexible. There is also a good balance in string tension and no strain on the frets.
