General

These MH-45 Lo-Rider Medium stainless-steel strings for electric bass guitars are roundwound and have a hexagonal (hex) core. It is this core that makes them produce a deeper tone and which makes them less flexible than Hi-Beam strings. Bass players who are keen on proper slapping, popping and tapping will definitely be able to appreciate both the Lo-Riders' clear trebles and rugged bass. The MH-45 strings by DR Strings are very accurate, and their resistance makes them also perfect for playing harmonic bass lines.

De eerste keer dat er DR snaren op mijn Yamaha BB1500 gaan. En wat een tof geluid; genoeg diep laag, maar ook lekker helder tijdens het spelen met plectrum. Bovendien hebben deze snaren de juiste spanning voor mijn bas, ongeveer gelijk aan D'Addario. Nu na 2 maanden spelen blijft de klank van de snaren netjes, ik hoor nog niks dof worden.

Deze snaren zijn de prijs meer dan waard. Helder maar ook goed strak in de lage regionen.
Niet stroef in het begin zoals veel andere roundwounds.
Ik heb ze aangeschaft voor mijn Fender Precision en ik heb de indruk dat ze alleen maar beter worden naarmate ze er langer opzitten.

Te gekke snaren voor een goede prijs! Spelen heerlijk, goed flexibel en toch strak in het laag. De snaren worden niet snel dof en behouden lang hun heldere en diepe klank!
