These MH5-45 Lo-Rider Medium stainless steel strings for the 5-string electric bass guitar are round wound and have a hexagonal core (hex-core). This results in a deeper sound and they also offer more resistance than Hi-Beam strings. Bassists who don't shy away from a game of slapping, popping and tapping will appreciate both the bright highs and solid lows of the Lo-Rider strings! The MH5-45 strings by DR Strings are accurate and, due to their good resistance, also ideal for playing harmonic parts.

Werkt uitstekend voor mijn Fender USA Jazz V en USA Std Dimension bass V HH. In passieve mode heeft deze snaar een mooi karakter en zorgt voor een prachtige lagato. Ik heb deze snaren ook op mijn Fender USA Deluxe Dimension V Bass HH. DIt geeft een strakke stevige toon en daardoor totaal anders van klank als mijn Std versie. Snaar spanning is voor mij precies goed, niet te strak en zeker niet te slap. Ik speel niet met extreem lage actie, waar deze snaar doorgaans wel voor bedoeld is. In speeltijd van deze snaar is ongeveer een week, wat ik acceptabel vind. Goede kwaliteit en lange levensduur.

Eerste keer dat ik nieuwe bassnaren koop. Ik vind ze heel fijn spelen. Strak geluid, zelfs de dikste snaar zwabbert niet en melodie komt goed over. Toch speelt het ook heel soepel. Ik ben zeer tevreden!
